"Landau's Choice" is a 4-star Light Cone designed for characters on the Preservation Path, and it's quite effective since the majority of Preservation characters can make good use of it.
It's interesting because, on one hand, it increases the likelihood of the bearer being targeted by enemies. While this might not sound pleasant in general, it aligns perfectly with the role of these characters as the team's tank, making it a highly desirable effect. On the other hand, it also reduces the damage the wearer receives, complementing the aforementioned effect and, of course, something any tank would appreciate.
However, it's true that this Light Cone will shine especially for characters with taunt mechanics (such as Tailblazer Fire) or those who directly absorb damage for their teammates (like Fu Xuan). Characters who protect their team through shields generally prefer Light Cones that increase their Defense.
